Rossman™ Now an episodic game

During the past 4 months of development on Rossman, it had came to my attention that I needed to make some drastic changes in order to get the best out of this game. Rossman™ was stated to be released in 2009 during the holidays but after a hardware failure the game was forced to be delayed til Spring of 2010. The development source was saved to an external hard drive before the hardware failure occurred. I was working on the first would-be boss of the first land of the game before my old computer power supply went obsolete on me. Now on my brand new computer, development still continues. New sprite work for Rossman™ will also be revealed soon.

Now I forget to mention that Rossman™ now has became an episodic game, which I feel was the best route for me to go being that I am an independent game developer and I can only do so much especially with a busy schedule such as going to work, then college, and repeat for 5 days a week and you will see what I mean. The new title Rossman™: Episode 1 has a Spring 2010 release date for the Windows PC platform via digital download on the internet and on a physical retail copy if you live in the upstate of South Carolina. Splitting the game in half seemed like a great way to cut down development time for me and hopefully I'll have the next episode released later this year. I don't set my expectations too high for this game, but I'm going to do the best that I can to get any good feedback from my peers and other video game reviewers. I've been observing that most people start looking at the race of my main character and decides not to give my game a chance but remember, don't judge a game by looks. :)

Rossman Demo Released!!

Rossman™
Rossman is an upcoming independent platforming game developed by Saturnine Studios™ for Windows PC and soon Mac. The character Rossman is loosely based on one of developer Byron Corry's close friends. Rossman must save his girlfriend Ericka Debouis from his family's enemy Dr. Ace. His girlfriend also revealed that she is the Princess of a Kingdom called Newlin. Now Rossman must travel through the lands of the Newlin kingdom to save the her. NOTE: This is only the demo version of this game, so things will probably change in the final version.

Let me introduce myself!

My name is Byron, and I'm the head guy in charge of Saturnine Studios™ which is basically an independent video game developer with just (currently) one person....Me. I do the graphics, the sounds, the music, and all. Saturnine Studios was founded back in 2004, but I really haven't made any games at the time because I was still in high school. Now in 2009, I have begun work on my first video game for the pc. It's a platforming game called "Rossman™", it's loosely based on one of my close friends from high school.
